NEW! FUNdamentals for Foundation to Year 2
HOTmaths is proud to announce an exciting suite of resources for Foundation to Year 2. Simple, colourful
activities will engage students, while carefully designed interactives for teachers will create
exciting whole-class learning opportunities. Additional resources include teaching notes, worksheets,
and a sophisticated Learning Management System. Ask your Cambridge consultant to learn more.
Online Help and Professional Learning
Find the answers you need fast, or take some time to explore HOTmaths while working through an online
Professional Learning program. This teacher resource will be coming in Term 1 2013.
Search facility for students
A new search facility makes it even easier for students to find resources by name, topic, or keyword.
This Search feature was previously only available to teachers.
Print and online packages for the Australian Curriculum
HOTmaths is now integrated with four different textbooks series, including the latest maths resource
from Cambridge, Essential Mathematics GOLD. The integrated programs offer an exceptional blended
learning package, making it simple for students and teachers to use HOTmaths and their textbook
together.
Integrated textbooks include:
Enhancements to existing resources
Fresh new lessons for 2013! We've been updating our topics and lessons throughout 2012, and all of these
new lessons are now in place on the HOTmaths website, especially in Data and Probability across all Year
levels.
Australian Curriculum grids
Have you seen our Australian Curriculum grids yet? To support schools using the comprehensive Australian
Curriculum courses on HOTmaths, we have grids available for each Year level. The grids map HOTmaths to
the Australian Curriculum and vice versa, so you can quickly find the HOTmaths resources to match a
particular Australian Curriculum content description code. The grids are available under the 'more
information' link on each topic page.
The HOTmaths blog
The HOTmaths blog was started late last year to share
news and tips with HOTmaths users. We would love to share your great ideas and suggestions with other
teachers, so if you would like to write a guest post or be interviewed for the blog, please get in touch
with us at schools@hotmaths.com.au
